ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS *Accountable for:* 1. Scheduling (Proactive Operational Planning) 2. Working Order Cycle 3. Reporting Productions Metrics 4. Communication & Negotiation- Schedule 5. Raw Materials & Inserts Inventory Supplies 6. WIP Management 7. Finished Goods Management 8. Supply Chain Performance Indicators Management and Improvement 9. Agreeing MPS requirements for Manufacturing 10. Printing & Publishing monthly MPS (four weeks before month) 11. For Secondary Packaging, send DC Capacity info and analyze SKU as per capacity 12. Preparing monthly detailed schedule 13. Day to day capacity utilization Supply Chain advice 14. Assuring Compliance with Laws & Regulations 15. Generation of Purchases Requisition *Assists in:* 1. Determining 6-12 months line capacity 2. Capacity Consumption projection (CCU) (1-5 years) 3. Simulating Scenarios to capacity based in management inputs 4. Labor cost (Budget/ Forecasting) 5. Quarterly Forecast 6. Unit RM Usage and Inventory Optimization 7. Unit MRO, Including Spare Parts Inventory Optimization 8. WIP and FG Inventories Targeting $´s 9. Cost Modeling for Process Improvement 10. Non-Conformance WIP Management 11. Identifying resources availability for Manufacturing 12. Production Line set-up 13. Assuring production goals are achieved for Manufacturing 14. Assuring Readiness of Manufacturing Requirements for the Product Transfer 15. Analyzing schedule vs. capacity 16. Reviewing shortage materials with suppliers 17. Material procurement packaging design 18. Providing Direction & Capabilities to Work Unit 19. Monitoring & Optimizing Unit Performance 20. Managing Strategic Relation & Partnerships POSITION QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing flow and logistics * Knowledge of MRPII, BPCS * Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish * Effective leadership * Expert user of PC productivity tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) * Excellent interpersonal skills. Highly motivated, self-starter, and responsible person WORK ENVIRONMENT * Generally, works in a closed environment, in office conditions, with a moderate level of noise and controllable changes of temperature * Needs to stand, walk and may be seated for a long period of time * Uses hands to handle and reach * Could be required to travel * Works with a personal computer and programs to prepare documents or reports * Applies communication skills (advanced reading, writing, and technical skills) and mathematical concepts knowledge to perform work and coordinate with others * Needs to have high analytical capacity and level of professionalism and judgment to resolve problems EDUCATION • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
