We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team on-site at NAVAIR Patuxent River, MD to provide Systems Administrator support to PMA-231 Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance. Requirements: DoD Clearance Eligibility (United States Citizenship Required) At least 7 years of experience performing system administration in a Linux environment COMPTIA Security + or other DOD INST 8570 compliant qualification required Responsibilities: Provide deployment and configuration support for: VMWare/vSphere Enterprise, Cisco switches, SAN, Win Server, Networking, and Linux Preferred Skills and Experience: At least 2 years of Network engineering experience Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required Compensation: Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate´s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
